Brook Street farmhouse is on the right side of Brook Street just beyond Hayesbrook School. It is just visible in the 'now' photograph, but much more prominent in the 'then' one, which perhaps dates from the early years of the 20th century. The long barn has gone however, replaced by the houses of Old Barn Close. An oak tree on the left features in both views.
